Become a member and have a higher impact
The Cocoa Platform is open to all stakeholders of the Swiss cocoa sector who actively support the association’s goals.
The members of the Cocoa Platform have joined forces to ensure more sustainability in the cocoa industry. By bundling our efforts, we have a higher impact. In 2021, for example, our members from the manufacturers and traders and retail sectors already covered 92 % of all imports of cocoa bean equivalents. In order to cover all imports and further strengthen our network, we are dependent on the membership of additional players.
Members profit from the following benefits:
- building synergies for the achievement of sustainability goals in the cocoa sector
- access to a network of competent partners from member sectors, European initiatives and countries of origin of cocoa
- participation in working groups
- funding opportunities for projects in developing countries
- access to our online information exchange system and newsletter
- participation in a credible external accountability system.
The requirements for membership are:
- a legal entity with its registered office in Switzerland
- activity in one of the member sectors (manufacturers and traders, retail, non-profit organisations or research)
- payment of the annual membership fee (varies depending on the sector)
